Harlan Francis Hagen was born in Lawton, N.D., on Oct. 8, 1914. He graduated from the University of Calif. Berkeley with an
A.B. in 1936, and received an L.L.B. in 1940. Hagen served as a member of the Calif. State Assembly from 1949-1952, and as
a U.S. Congressman from 1953-1967. Hagen died Nov. 25, 1990 in Hanford, Calif.
